Introducing Alan

Thanks for visiting, Alan Cannell is a musician from Norfolk, with over 60 years of experience in the music industry.
Recording Sessions , National Tours , composing Signature tunes , Jingles ,
and Incidental music for the BBC & ITV plus co-writing many Songs have all been part of his musical journey .
He's swapped from many music genres; Country, Rockabilly, Hawaiian,Pop, and Rock & Roll are only a few examples.
Theatre Royal Norwich, Princess Theatre Hunstanton, Cromer Pier, and Bury St Edmunds Theatre Royal, are just a few of the prestigious local venues stages he's graced.

Studio Recording & Session Work

In the past I would offer session work and recording services right from my own private studio. I have worked alongside various artists, either as a solo artist, a co-writer, or producer.

Musical background

Over the last 60 years, I have performed in several bands over the years, and had the privilege to learn Guitar, Lap Steel, and the Pedal Steel and continue to play them all to this day.
